“ISO 30414 – Human Capital Reporting” EVA hosted a masterclass by Zahid Mubarik

On April 14-15th, our partner HR Metrics founder Zahid Mubarik’s visited Tbilisi and conducted the masterclass with HR professionals and business representatives from various sectors on “ISO 30414 – Human Capital Reporting”.

Zahid, co-author of the ISO30414 standard and co-founder of technical committee T260, spoke about the format and importance of reporting, as well as existing business challenges and opportunities. With active participation from invited guests, we discussed the importance of strategic human capital management, necessary initiatives for women’s economic empowerment, and HR’s critical role in achieving business objectives.

At the event, we presented the results of a project implemented together with UN Women Georgia. During the panel discussion, HR professionals from Rooms Hotels and Nexia Georgia, who participated in the project, spoke about existing practices in their companies, their own experiences, and the importance of knowledge gained through the project. The project was presented by Ani Gagua, an implementation consultant and auditor certified in the ISO 30414 standard.

In the concluding part, Salome Argvliani presented European Union regulations related to human capital reporting – ESRS_S1 and highlighted factors to be considered by Georgian companies.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with students of the University of Georgia’s master’s program in Human Capital Management and Digital Transformation. After the masterclass, we discussed the existing business environment in Georgia and future perspectives for human capital development with the students. A memorandum was signed between the parties for future cooperation.

This is already the second event regarding the ISO 30414 standard with the involvement of our international partners, which we will definitely continue to implement in the future. Thanks to the host Rooms Hotel, the University of Georgia, and co-organizer UN Women Georgia.
